Multiple User Accounts - redundant home page change warnings

Program gives me the impression it hasn't been designed for or formally
tested on systems with multiple user accounts. Our family PC has 3 user
accounts, all with admin access (so all users can install software) and a
guest account that is not used. Each user uses IExplore and has chosen a
different home page, toolbars, etc.

As far as I can tell, every time we switch users &/or login, we get a raft
of popup messages, the only one I usually have time to read warns that the
home page has been changed (to/from MyYahoo, Google, etc.).

Apart from being a nuisance, it makes me wonder about the design spec. for
MSAS. Were multi-user systems considered?

The current beta product is largely third-party code as acquired by
Microsoft. Many standards you might expect from a Microsoft-designed
product were not taken into account by the original designers.

Beta2 will take those standards and issues into account from the beginning.

Hello Grgwi;

No, the current beta 1 release does not support scanning multiple user
account, its single user application in this beta 1 release, it should
support multiple account scanning and limited accounts in beta 2.

Go to Tools menu, Advanced Tools-> Browser Hijack Settings Restore. Select
the Start page on the left and set your start page using "Change restore
setting to a new URL" in the right panel. Enter the address you want to be
the start page and click OK.'

The beta 1 release does not support limited accounts, this should be fixed
in beta 2.
