Unable to See User Accounts in User Home

David

I am running Windows XP Pro. Machine has multiple users
on it.

From Control Panel when I click on User Accounts, the User
Account Box comes up, but the box is blank. Only the Back
and Forward arrows and Home show up. The other
information (such as the Learn About box, Pick a Category
or Pick an Account to Change) does not show up.

Any ideas as to why the information is not visible?

All of the accounts show up on the Windows sign-on page.

Thanks,
David

David,

Mmm this does sound rather stange, have you made any changes, or done
anything to the system before this started happening? Has this feature
worked ok for you before?

The feature has worked fine in the past. I have installed Registry
Mechanic, Spybot S&D and upgraded to Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition V9
recently.

Actually I've got the same problem. Mine is Home Edition and I only get the
forward and back buttons and Home. This is on a used Gateway we just
bought, I've been thinking that it has to do with an admin/security setting
somewhere but haven't found it yet.
