multiple identities question

with outlook express you can configure and use multiple identities, each
with its own configuration including mail accounts and storage locations.

1) in outlook (2000), I am assuming 'profiles' will accomplish this same
thing. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
2) do later versions of outlook do the same thing?

You're quite correct. The one major difference however, between OE
Identities and Outlook profiles, is that you have to close Outlook before
switching Profiles.

Outlook 2000 is an odd beast. It had two modes - Internet Mail Only and
Corporate/Workgroup. Only in CW mode can you have multiple profiles. Most
home users install it in IMO mode.
