Multiple Copies of the Same Taskbar/SysTray Apps Loading

Hey,
I'm having an issue with sometimes the same app on my taskbar/systray loads
twice (Like there will be 2 copies of Hp Digital Imaging Monitor, WinTV
Remote Controller, Yahoo! Widget Engine, etc etc). Is there anyway to make it
so the application can only be allowed to run one copy of the app and not be
allowed to open more then one copies of it? Or maybe a way to prevent
multiple from loading?

try to disable the notification icon, ussually when you open a program have a
general tab and there is the option to place an icon to the notification
area, uncheck the box or another solution......
you may have to go to the regedit to delete values. Are You feel confident
of that???

Check the following registry keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

and see if you have duplicates between the two.
