Multiple Contact Lists

Is it possible to have two contact lists. I need to separate my personal
from business contacts. Especially when I syncronize my blackberry. I keep
having to delete the personal ones at work.

I don't know what "contact list" means to you, but if you want to create a
new contact _folder_, then click File>New>Folder. Specify the contents type
as "Contacts". Give it a name. Click OK.

Are you using BES or desktop software? I set the category BB on the ones I
wanted to sync then configured desktop software to only sync that category.

Brian, In Microsoft Outlook, there is a section "contacts" which i'm sure you
know. I have all my personal and business contacts in their. when I
syncronize with my blackberry, it does all of them. Now when I go to work, I
only want to syncronize the business contacts in my blackberry with my
computer at work. How do I tell the blackberry and computer to only
syncronize part of it.

A better idea is to use Categories to separate your personal and business
contacts, assuming that the blackberry has the option to use categories to
synch.

I don't use a Blackberry, but I suspect you can't sync only a portion of the
Contacts folder. So, create a new contacts folder as i described and move
the items you don't want synched to that second contacts folder.

See the posts by those who do use Blackberries.

I thank you for your answer to my post elsewhere: 'Clicking on a link in
email, computer prompts to choose program'. I received a notification that
there was a response to my email, but the link supplied didn't work!
Your suggestion (Use Windows' "Set Program Access and Defaults") was so
simple, and it worked. This has been baffling me for ages.
I hope this word of thanks reaches you.

It did and I'm glad it worked.
