multi media removable drive problems

I have been having a problem with my iPod when I plug it in
the computer restarts. I have had this same problem with my
digital camera and I was wondering if anyone knows why this
is.

I have the same problem with my Olympus Digi Camera but it
only crashes on the SECOND connect. I have s dual boot on
my PC so I tried the same hardware (PC,USB,CAM,cable,etc)
under windows 98 and I can disconnect and reconnect the
usb over and over with NO crashes. I took the camera to my
PC @ work (also W2K) and it crashes too. It looks like it
is a BUG in Windows 2000 Pro.
