multi-level table linking

I would like to link tables from disparate databases from different servers
(MySQL, Sybase, & MS-SQL) into an Access 2003 database back end located on
another server, then link those tables in the back end MDB to a front end
MDB on the client machine.

When I attempt this using ODBC System DSN's to the source DB's, the source
tables link into the middle MDB fine, but the "Get External Data" dialog on
the front end client MDB does not offer those tables for selection.

Anyone know of a technique to accomplish multi-step table linking in Access?
Or am I completely delusional?

Thanks.

That's the answer I was expecting. The far back end (Sybase, MySQL, & MS
SQL) tables are currently linked directly to the front end. There are also
active Access tables derived from the far back end tables there. So,
everything is sitting in the same MDB I was hoping to separate the front
end from data tables, same as a traditional splitting of a single MDB, thus
easing my application maintenance and maybe lessening network traffic. Oh
well...

Thanks.
