"MSN" Search missing in I.E.

Hi:
When I click 'Search' at the top of Internet Explorer,
there is NO 'MSN' search popping up on the left corner
of I.E. Pane.
Instead, HP search popping up.
Even I clicked 'customize' on the right corner of 'Search'
there is no menu to choose. Only HP search available.

I understand that my computer's maker is HP, then they
want me to use HP search instead 'MSN.'

However, before a crash of some program, there was
'MSN' search.

My question is;
'How to get/restore 'MSN' search on the left corner of l.E. pane?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Congratulations. Now you need to fix your system clock so that you are
never 4 hours ahead of rest of the world.

You need to change your time zone then. Even if you are in the East
Coast, it should reflect the correct time for us in the UK as the system
corrects for time zone differences.

Have you tried automatic time update over the net? You should try it as
it can't be wrong!! It is the last tab when you get to the time change
dialog by right clicking on the time in the sys tray. Select adjust
time and go from there.

Dear Ms. C. Frisch [MVP]:

Thank you VERY much for your help.

I just got my 'beloved' MSN search by downloading the site
your provided, below.
For the past days since my computer got back to 'life,'
I missed SO much and SO dearly 'MSN' Search.

I truly appreciate your prompt response on this regard.

Thanks again!
Have a wonderful evening!

Hi:
Thanks for you pointing out the 'clock.'

I never paid attention on such a 'tiny' problem. But, again
I was SO busy fixing and mending 'missing parts' after having
rescued the 'almost' original state.

How to fix, system 'clock?'
Going to 'Date/Clock' by accessing 'Control Panel?'

I live in the East Coast, US, btw., then this clock/time
is accurate in my local time.

Thanks any suggestion,

Hi:
I went 'Time Zone' and clicked 'Pacific .....' that seemed to correct the
time. Hopefully so, tho', ... I'm not sure.

Also, what does it mean...?I never read nor heard about this.

Could you elaborate about 'automatic time update?'

Thanks for your time.

Camel:

The Pacific Time Zone refers to the West coast (e.g. Pacific Ocean).

For the East coast, scroll a little further down the list to find:
"Eastern Time (US & Canada)"
