msn messenger lagging

Hi i was using a microphone on msn fine, then it as
started to lag about 3-4 seconds and when playing online
gat bad connection problems.All i have done recently is
install xp service pack 2 if anyone has any ideas on how
i speed up my msn microphone connectiom it would be
greatly appreciated.thanks Gavin

Greetings Gavin,

You and your contact might try turning off the QoS Packet Scheduler. To do so, click Start,
then All Programs, then Accessories, then Communications, and then Network Connections. Right
click your network/internet connection, then click Properties. Uncheck the QoS Packet
Scheduler, and try again. If the QoS option is grayed out, simply click on it and choose the
Uninstall button instead.
