MSN Messenger keeps asking to update

Hi,

Even though I am already running version 6.1 of MSN Mesenger on my two
computers, I keep getting pop-up messages when starting Windows that a new
version is available. Twice, I have gone ahead and installed it only to
find that it is still v.6.1.

How can I get Messenger to understand that 6.1 is ALREADY installed?
