msinfo32 and System Info

Hi All

I am desperate to get my system info for Kodak because of a
camera issue. I cannot get either msinfo32 or System
Information to run, any ideas?

I am running XP Home with SP2

If I can't get these working can anyone recommend a third
party prog that will give the same results?

Any help would be appreciated.

Msinfo32.exe Generates a "Can't Collect Information" Error Message
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;323209&Product=winxp

Go to Start > Run and type: MSCONFIG , and hit enter.
Under the General tab, check "Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services",
click "apply" and reboot.

The following utilities will retrieve much of the same information:

AIDA32 http://www.aumha.org/freeware.htm
Belarc Advisor http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

You may or may not be able to fix this. I can't fix mine.

It used to work but a Windows Critical Update screwed it up.
I don't know which CU is the culprit. Doesn't matter, it's screwed up.

This works. It's what I use.

Scroll down to and Click on:
172. Msinfo32 Batch File - To Gain Access

Unzip and save it where ever | Create a shortcut | Place the shortcut in
your Start Menu, Desktop or where ever | Click the shortcut to open msinfo32
Saves typing it in the Start | Run box every time.
