Has anyone ever encountered a runtime error 2761 in a
Windows Installer package? The description is "Cannot
begin transaction. Global mutex not properly
initialized." The user sees the progress bar go about
halfway, and then hang for several minutes. They have to
go into Task Manager to end the install. The log file
shows that it is getting hung up in the InstallValidate
task.
