MSCOMCTL.OCX

Cody

I tried to install spywareblaster and, after installing it, I tried to run
it and it came up with this error:

'Run Time Error 339

Component "MSCOMCTL.OCX" or one of its dependencies not correctly
registered; a file is missing or invalid."

Thanks!

Cody

Hi Cody,

Thanks for your posting here.

Did you try to remove spywareblaster and reinstall it?

Please check if you could find the file in the windows system folder. If
not, please copy it from other computer and register it using:

Start -> Run and typing "regsvr32 C:\...\system\mscomctl.ocx"

NOTE: If win2k/XP use the System32 folder.

In addition, please go to
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
At the bottom there is an installer for this problem.
