Hi:
Lately, when I click on a Word document (*.doc) I get a message that it is
trying to install something and then a little window comes up than says "An
error occurred and this feature is no longer functioning properly. Please
run Setup and select "Repair..." to restore this application." But I check
OK, and WORD runs perfectly thereafter.
But I have attempted to run setup from the original MS Office disks and I
get some kind of error message about a "patch."
Frankly, things are working just fine except for the slight delay from
clicking thought the initial error message.
Should I just ignore it (and hope is goes away - that seems to happen a log
with XP) or should I do something serious like un-install OFFICE and
re-install.
