MS Wheel button and commands?

Rich

Hi,
Just bought a wireless mouse and keyboard (MS Multimedia/Optical Mouse
2) and the command for opening windows explorer is not one of the
options for the scroll mouse button.

This was included on previous versions which i used constantly.

I tried loading older versions of the software that has it but the
drivers won't operate the hardware properly.

Running xp pro. Is it possible to write a batch file to control
a mouse button?
Could i install older software and then just install new wireless
drivers or does anyone know of other software
that would add this feature?
Thank's
Rich

Explore My Computer is in my list using Intellipoint 4.1. Otherwise change
the mouse type in Intellipoint to the Intellimouse rather than Wireless
Optical.

Using Opitical 2.0 and the menu
for the wheel button stays the same
for all when the wheel applies.
All the commands are basic i can't
understand why the eliminated the explorer.
I found it a lot more useful than a cut or paste.

Thank's,
Rich
