to picture did not transfer. is there a way to do this. i have over 300
individual photos that I what people to see.

Also can anyone tell me how to burn my movie Maker project to a DVD that
will self start on anyones basic off the shelf DVD player

Thanks

A lot of issues here, haven't the foggiest about your Photo Story problem
however,

WMM is not the program you want to use to make your "production", you'd be
wasting your time since you will need another program to make the DVD. So
skip WMM and make your final "production" using the program that will also
burn it to a DVD in the format DVD players understand.

Assuming you already have a DVD burner, it must have come with software that
will "render" (make) DVD's. If the program doesn't do what you want then
you'll have to find a program that does, but make sure it's capable of making
DVD's as well. If you don't already have a DVD burner, they all come with
burning software, and of course some programs are better than others. So you
should do a little research and find 1) a burner that comes with software
that will do what you want and 2) is a 1/2 decent burner. The program should
allow you to select something like "autoplay" or "dont' autoplay" when your
finishing off the "production" before the burn. (you mentioned you wanted the
DVD to play immediately on insertion).

Having said all that, if you buy a + DVD burner and burn a bunch of + DVD's
and everyone you know has DVD players that will only play - DVD's then no-one
will be able to play your DVD's.

So you can either poll everyone you know to find out what their players will
play, or you can buy a burner that will burn both + and -. If someone needs a
- you give them a -, if someone needs a +, you give them a +.

COLDPLAY - "Nobody said it was easy". After all it's only 2005!

NOTECKY you seem real knowlegable and I liked your thoroughness in your
answer. It kind of answered some of my problem, that is about all the
variables in format compatibilities, but if you could look at my recently
posted question, maybe you could give me more specific help. Thanks again.
