MS Intellimouse is backwards - HELP!

Okay...I bought a new MS wireless optical intellimouse 4 months ago. Today,
when I move the mouse UP, the pointer goes DOWN, and vise versa. BUT, left
and right are still operating correctly.

I've uninstalled the software. I've rebooted several times. Next I'll
uninstall the driver and reinstall.

While I do that...does anyone have any idea why this happened and how I can
fix it if this driver uninstall doesn't work?

This is really annoying. Ideas?

Nevermind. Even though the battery strength meter showed "high" and they were
new only 4 months ago, apparently that is the problem as I took them out and
flipped them...now it works fine.

I feel stupid!
