MS Ainti Spyware problem

I am running MS Anti Spyware on 3 machines at home with no
problems. Just installed it on a 4th and it keeps hanging
the PC as soon as it is launched. The aapplication will not
respond. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. My PC is not
infected with any virus and appears to be clean, according
to Spybot Search and Destroy v1.3. I cannot exit the
application in any way. It does not respond and will not
close using the task manager. I have to manually power down
the PC to get out of this jam. This PC is running WinXp
home editiion, has 256 mb ram, is a Pentium 3 running at
800 MHz. Any ideas what could be causing this and how I
can remedy?

Hi

Remove all temporarily junk from this PC, easiest
with CCleaner, www.ccleaner.com

Install MSAS again after this, choose upgrade.

Also restart in safe mode (press F8) and choose a fullscan with MSAS.
