Moving Profiles...

Hi (Please fogive the cross-post...I also posted this to the Outlook General
group but haven't seen any activity)

Using Outlook 2002 w/Exchange 2K. We are in the midst of an Active Directory
migration for file & print services. (Exchange environment is on separate AD
managed by parent company) When we move machines in we create new windows
profiles and in turn create new Outlook profiles. This has been problematic
due to excessive customizations of the Outlook environment by end-users.

My question is this...
Are there any tools or Is there any way to copy the WHOLE Outlook profile
(including: .pst, OAB, custom categories, customized view settings, forms,
rules, etc...) from one windows profile and drop it into the new one? I have
seen plenty of information on moving .pst's around which is not a problem,
but most of our user community has customized their Outlook environments so
much that creating new profiles will be a major step back in productivity
for them.

Thanks in advance for any info that can be provided.

Phil,

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I don't have your answer although I'm sure
someone out here will. I just wanted to mention that when moving Outlook
clients around, don't forget the NK2 (autocomplete) file.

If you want more information regarding this file, contact me at
www.dcs-imaging.com or just do a Google or Yahoo search on NK2 or Outlook
autocomplete and you can find us that way too.

I don't know of such a tool that would help you there.
Outlook Profiler might take some of the sting out
of it.
