Moving oab and ost files to another laptop for offline address boo

My question regarding exporting an offline address book to another laptop was
answered. I should have also explained that I did a copy and paste of the
pst ost and oab files from the store folder, placed them in the other
laptop's store folder but could not get the address book to operate. The PC
receving the paste has never been connected to an exchange server. I could
see all my old e-mail, I assume from the pst file. I want to reload the
original laptop but would like to still be able to look some old comrades up.
That is why I'm trying to get this other laptop to work as an address book

Thank You

Drew

Outlook won't use the .oab files unless there is an Exchange account in the mail profile.
