Export OST file offline address book

I have a laptop that was connected to an exchange server and I created ost
and pst files. I want to export my offline address book to a laptop that
never was connected to asn exchange server but has outlook 2003 installed. I
can get the pst files to appear but not the pffline address book. Can
anyone help me

Thanks, Drew

Outlook has no feature for exporting the offline address book.

Thank you for that information. I guess I should have also asked if there is
a way to get the offline address book to work on the other laptop. I tried
to copy and past all the files in the store folder; the pst, ost and oab
files. I can use outlook to view all my old mail, I assume using the pst
file. I'm trying to get the offline address book operational, even though
the new laptop never was connected to an exchange server. I'm just looking
for a way to force it to utilize the addess book.

Thank you
Drew

Outlook won't use the .oab files unless there is an Exchange account in the mail profile.

So even if I put the exchange information in, since it never really connects,
it won't build a proper profile? Therefore I will nevere be able to do what
I'm attempting. Is that where this is going?

Thanks

That's correct.
