Moving attachment location

I can move my pst file to a new drive with no problem. However, Outlook 2003
save my attachments in Document and Settings Temperary Internet Files OLK6C.
How do I change the default location where Outlook stores my attachments.

Right-click on the attachment and choose "Save As" and you can choose ANY
location you want. The Temp Internet folder is only used when you open the
attachment without first saving to HDD, AFAIK......

Thanks, but this did not work. The attachment still went to Doc & Setting
Local Settings Tempory Internet File.

Unless you elect to save it, it will always revert to this location. Open
the item and save it and the add-in will automatically open your selected
location to save.

Can you go into the registery using regedit and change the default location,
if yes, where?

No. Opening any attachment from an Outlook preview window and then closing
will always place it in the Outlook Secure Temp file. If you want to save
it to another location AFTER OPENING THE EMAIL and THEN the attachment,
Oldefpath will do it for you.
