Change default attachment download location

Is there a way to change the default location where attachments are saved in
Outlook 2007/Vista?

Ive seen this response posted in several places about the net. It
doesnt work for me. Changing this registry value as suggested
produces the same result - attachment requests are directed to the "My
Documents" folder and not the desired network location. Adding the
appropriate directories to "My Places" is also not an available option
in Outlook 2007 although many posters seem to think that it is. I can
do this easily on Word 2007 but Outlook does not give the end user the
ability to add entries to the "My Places" section on the left side of
the screen. What I need is a "real" solution
