Movie Maker 2-playback

Help!
In former mm 1, I could make a movie and save it to CD to
playback on different computer. When I make it on mm2, i
can play it on computer I made it on, but when I put on
Cd to play elsewhere, I only get music. What happened?

Hi there,

You have not said exactly what it is you saved to a CD. Is it an AVI file
or a WMV file. Have you saved the file using the HighMat menu system, or is
it just a plain file without the menu system.

Have you made sure that both machines are up to date with regards to
Windows Media Player? assuming that Media Player is what you are using to
play the file back.

Thanks for reply
It is a wmv file and I did not save using HighMat. I
saved using options in movie maker only. The machine I
am playing back on has Media Player 8. I ultimately want
to attach LCD projector to laptop to present. THe movie
is just pix and audio. Old MM1, I could just choose
option under "other" when I saved movie to playback
elsewhere. Any help appreciated.
