moved computer, can't print

We have an office LAN with HP Laserjet 4050 installed via a switch. I
recently moved a computer from one location to another and now I can't print
to the network printer. The only change to the setup was the network cable to
the computer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am using winXP
Pro.

Typically, there is a way to print out a configuration page from the front panel
of the computer that will include, among other things, the printer's IP address.

You'll have to check the manual.

Can you print now or it still fails?

Is the Port configured to use a network name or the hostname?

HP network cards are normally named NPInnnnnn where nnnnnn is the hardware
address of the network interface. Can you ping HPLaserJ?
