Move files in My Documents

I would like to move all the files in the "my Documents" folder to a new
drive. I will have a 2 drive system. The current drive will be where all the
programs are installed and the second drive will be a data drive. Is there
an easy way to move the folders/subfolders within the "My documents" folder
to another drive?

After I have done this, I believe that I will have to update the properties
of the "My Documents" folder to indicate the new drive location.

Any help, insights, lessons learned would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

How about this: Right click your "My Documents" folder, select "Properties"
from the drop down menu, select "Move" on the "Target" tab. Is that what
you're looking for?

Replied to [wojo2]s message :
I did not think that this method would also move the subfolders.

Move the subfolders manually then change the path in My Documents Properties.

I believe that it will move the folder and it's contents. But if it doesn't,
there's also a button to "Restore Default" setting.

Easiest way to relocate some of these system folders is to use TweakUI one
of the MS powertoys. There is a section in there where a new location can
be defined. This would relocated the folder and all it's sub folders.
