Mouse - Right Click Options

H

HSV Guy

Hi all.

I've installed a few programs that modified the way when I right click a
file/ folder options.

Example there is now the option to scan for viruses etc etc.
There is one that's called destroy with privacy guard. I downloaded the
trial version of this and deleted it few days later. But still the option of
destroying a file using that program exists. even though there is no trace
of that program anymore.

Any help would be appreciated

There are many traces in the registry.

It depends on where in the right click menu.

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\OpenWithList
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
