Mouse Problem - pointer preferences not saved

Under "Snap to" I check the "Automatically move pointer to the default"
button in a dialog box. However, every time I logoff or restart this steeing
changes back to the unchecked option. I do choose "Apply" before leaving the
window.

Any ideas?

I found this same problem on the XP General newsgroup but no solution was
posted there either ...

"forgetting" settings was a fault in earlier driver versions; get the
latest here, 5.4 and later seem much better:

Thank-you. I have a Logitech USB mouse and I downloaded the latest driver
from the Logitech website and all seems to be working!
