I'm not really sure what caused this problem.
What happens is that whenever I open IE, my mouse pointer
changes to the "busy" signal pointer (the big hourglass)
and remains stuck like that for the remainder of the time
that I have my computer on, even though there is nothing
running that would cause the computer to be busy. I am
still able to use the hourglass pointer just like the
regular arrow pointer.
I've tried restarting my computer several times with no
luck.
This is extremely frustrating. Any help is greatly
appreciated.
