More printer spooler problems

As soon as I click Add Printer, I get "operation could
not be completed"
and the wizard does not start. I did the 4 step
Sanderson plan but I still
get "Could not start the Print Spooler Service on local
computer. Error 5
Access is denied" when I try to start the spooler. I am
logged on as
Administrator and no printer drivers are present. TIA
