Modify Vertical Alignment

Properties>Other>Vertical = Yes

Aligns with top on right. How do I get it to align with top on left?

There is a left-justify icon that you can use to align the label. If all else
fails, use a textbox instead and apply top or bottom margins.

I really appreciate your response, but you're totally not getting what I'm
saying.

I have a text box or label, with some text in it. I go to
Properties>Other>Vertical = Yes, and it orients the text with the head on the
right. Changing the alignment -- left: top of the object, center: middle of
the object, right: bottom of the object -- doesn't change what I need to
change. I want the orientation to have the head of the text on the left of
the object instead of the right.

Another way I could put it, is that when vertical=yes, it rotates the object
90 degrees clockwise, and I'd rather it rotated it 90 degrees
counter-clockwise.

Hopefully this elucidates my problem.

Ah, finally, you explain it a little better.
I'm afraid Access does not do that automatically or via a quick property
setting.

I had to do something of that nature a while back. What I did was I used Word
or another word processor to get the text the way I wanted...then I used an
image capture tool to create a small image file...then I placed the image in
my report.

It's not a simple solution. In my case it was the 12 months so I generated a
larger image with all 12 months and pasted it.

I believe there's a company that has some Access toolbox components, a
company called FMS Inc. that may help you with a control that does this.

I guess that means it's not native to Access. My workaround, currently, are
pictures (similar to your Word solution), but I just presented to the
database and they've already started making changes, so the ability to edit
and resize will need to be confronted shortly. Unfortunately, I can't even
install their trial software, because work doesn't give me admin rights to my
workstation.

Thank you for all your help.
