Vertical Text Rotation

Vertical text when placed in a report is read from top to bottom, is it
possible to have vertical text so it's read from bottom to top (rotated 180
degrees from the default)?

I have no idea which version of Access you are working with.

Access 2007 has a "Vertical" property for labels on forms, so I'll guess
controls on reports also have that property. Set to "Yes", the typed in
text rotates 90 degrees from default (180 degrees would make it upside
down).

I am working with 2003. In the report you are correct, when you select yes
in the properties for vertical it does place it vertical. However, it places
text so the bottom of the text aligned with the left edge of the paper my
question is, is there a way to align it with right edge of the paper?

I don't understand "aligned with ... edge". If this is a control you place
on the report, can't you move it where you want it?

If you are familar with excel, excel has the ability to format text
orientation starting at either at the 90 degree start point or starting at
the -90 degree start point. So if you place vertical in Access my question
is does Access have the same abilities as Excel in regards to text
orientation or is there an easy way to achieve the same results as Excel?

I'm not familiar with this. I suspect that if you want Excel functionality,
you'll need to export your Access data to Excel.
