mmc.exe -- What the hell microsoft???

Ive searched and searched. The Microsoft Management
Console failed to install on my 2 computers, a friend
sent me a working version a while back, but I installed
it on my other computer and deleted it accidentally. Now
what I cant understand.. is how in the hell he got
mmc.exe installer, and Ive searched all over
microsoft.com and cant find anything for XP. There is ME
and 98, but they say that it wont work for 2k or XP, and
they're right. Where the heck do i get this file!?!?! So
aggrivating please help!

I'm shocked you don't have it.
Windows 2000/XP installed and functioning?
Start -> Run and typing in mmc there doesn't run it?
It's not in your c:\windows\system32 directory?
(Make sure hidden files are visible or when using "search" you use the
advanced features.)

It's nothing you usually "install" - it comes with Windows.

Maybe this page will help you, however? Particularly the download part - as
that seems to be what you want (Google Search and Microsoft Search found
this fairly easily.)
