MM2 problem identified (I think)

Last week I wrote about a problem (clash)with a USB TV
Tuner and Moviemaker 2. After installing te USB TV Tuner
software MM2 would load and then as quickly disappear
(close) again. I tried lots of very helpful advise from
this group including renaming codec files, but none of
this resolved the problem. Over the weekend I reload my
entire (XP) operating system and al of my various
software. Then I reinstalled the USB TV Tuner hardware and
software (a little at a time) while testing the stability
of MM2. All was OK until I installed another package that
ships with the TV Tuner, which is apparantly required
to 'grab' images etc. After installing WinProducer 3 Vers.
3.1B001.34C00, Moviemaker 2 stopped working as described
above. It would appear that WinProducer replaces a
component used by MM2 which causes the problem. I don't
have the knowledge required to dig any further, but
thought that if someone else where to strike a similar
problem this might be of some use to them. By the way, my
USB TV Tuner works apart from an error message everytime I
start it saying that WinProducer is required to be
available for loading at the same time. I simply
acknowledge it and everything seems to work OK.
