Mistake on Menu Bar

While trying to place a new icon on my standard toolbar(View, Toolbars,
Customize), I accidentaly drug the icon to the menu bar instead of the
standard toolbar. Now after the Format menu, is an icon (erase border) that I
can't get rid of. I have tried Resetting the toolbar and menu bar, but
neither one of those actions work. Any suggestions? This is Word 2003.

Open Tools | Customize again and drag the button off the menu bar.
