Missing Security Tab

On one of our W2k DC's (Native W2k/SP4 domain) the security tab is
missing. When you right click on folders and choose properties the tab
isnt there to choose from.

Same for right clicking files or drives ... the security tab is missing.

This is on a W2k DC whilst logged on as domain admin - the same logon on
other DC's is fine. Deleting the profile and re-creating gives the same
thing on this DC.

Its was certainly working previously and has been for the last 2 years.
The C&D drives are Ntfs formatted and run through chkdsk without issue.

Any ideas?
