missing progress bar

hi there can anyone help me , i dont know where its gone or how it went but
the progress bar at the bottom of my i.e pages has gone awol. i know its not
all that important but its kinda bugging me

Hi,
It sounds like you're missing the Status Bar. Go to IE> View, put a check by
Status Bar.

If the Status Bar doesn't stay visible, you may have to open a Windows
Explorer window (like My Computer) and make it visible there also.

wow so simple yet sooo right, thankyou! i have no idea how it got unchecked
but im guessing my son had something to do with it. thanks again
