Missing post

I received a link to view a reply to a question I posted.
" A Microsoft Community member has responded to your question entitled
"Icons" "
I can't remember the exact title but it would have had "Icon", "taskbar" or
possibly "Taskbar Icons" in it.
I searched using my Username also in Windows General discussion back as far
as 4th. June 2007 but couldn't find my post.
Is there an easy way to find it?

Using the awful Web interface to post is terrible .Set up a newsreader like Outlook Express as a newsreader

If you can't find a previous post search for it using Google Groups Advanced
Search.

You can search for your name as author in all or specific newsgroups, and
filter by subject, keywords, content, author and date.

Better yet, as Peter suggested, use a newsreader to access what is actually
a Usenet newsgroup.
