Hello,
During bootup, I got the following message
=========================================================
Windows could not start because the following file is
missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows
with the original Setup CD-ROM.
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair.
=========================================================
To attempt the repair, I will use the instructions given in
How to Recover from a Corrupted Registry [Q307545]
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=307545
I would like to know what the possible causes are for this error, so I
can take steps to prevent recurrence.
Thanks,
karlo
