Missing Internet Gateway in Internet Connections

I want to conect a friends laptop into our wireless system ( WEP secured
netgear). This all worked brilliantly and she seems to be connected.
However she cannot access the Internet.
When I look into Internet conections I have no Internet Gateway icon, all
other computers have. How do I get this back please ?

How do I run ipconfig/all without it appearing for a split second in a
different window and then disappearing please ?

For the main desktop machine, connected to the Netgearwireless router:
Ethernet Local Area Connection :

connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Ip Adress............. : 192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask........ : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway.... : 192.168.0.1

For the friend laptop with wireless card :

Ip adress..............:192.168.0.5
Subnet mask .........: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway......: 192.168.0.1
