missing .inf file

is there anywhere i can go to get a copy of an .inf file? my pinball.inf is
missing. .cannot open the
"change or remove windows components" in add/remove programs. . .receive msg
"setup was unable to open information file pinball.inf. . .specific error
code is 0x2 at line 2011804389
checked the inf folder in windows and the pinball.inf is not there .. .

Restore it from the CD.
Click Start, Run. In the Run box, type "msconfig" without the quotes and
press enter. On the "General" tab, click the "Expand File..." button.

File to restore: pinball.inf
Restore from: Point to the Windows XP CD's "I386" folder
Save file in: C:\Windows\inf\

Boot from your XP CD press r to logon to the recovery console
from the prompt run the following command:

expand d:\i386\pinball.in_ c:\windows\inf\pinball.inf

D: assumes to be your CDROM drive letter, change as nessessary for your
environment
