Missing file.

I just installed WinXP Prof on a brand new comp and for
some reason I get an error saying:

"Windows could not start because the following file is
missing or corrupt:

\WINDOWS\inf\biosinfo.inf

You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows
Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM."

However, when I have the CD in it never goes back to the
setup screen to do the repair. It always loads and goes
straight back to that error screen. I don't even get the
chance to do anything. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Josh

Are you using a "retail version" of Windows XP?
