missing dll

Hi I hope someone can help me. I purchased Trend Micro and ran a scan. Then I
later found out that it removed the LIBEAY 32 dll. I fired off a letter to
them and they couldn't help. Ty in advance.

Some say that this DLL is part of a spyware. Are you using OpenSSL?

Recommendation
Not a critical component, but see the information above before disabling
it. It is highly recommended to Run a Performance Scan to automatically
optimize memory, CPU and Internet Settings..

It is ALSO part of a viral load, especially if the filename is as you
gave it; meaning, LIBEAY 32 dll instead of LIBEAY32.dll (note the space
in the name). See the first link above. I do NOT speak for nor
recommend either of those sites for their programs; but their
information has always proven solid for me.
If you do a search on symantec.com, they also have info on
LIBEAY32.dll as a virus.

Oh my gosh!! That really helped. My dll is no longer missing. Now if I can
just get my pc to run faster-it's really slow. Thank you so much.

Scan your computer for Spyware/Malware, etc

Spybot Search & Destroy 1.6 is a very good, FREE Anti-Spyware Program.
Download, install, update, and immunize your System with it.
Then SCAN with it.
Update it, and scan your System once a fortnight.

Malwarebytes is as the name says, a Malware Remover!
For the Free version scroll down their page to either download from
Download.com, or Major Geeks.com

Download, install, and update.

Important re: Safe Mode
If you happen to find a problem that you can’t uninstall / delete, reboot
the computer, and go into Safe Mode.
To get into Safe mode, tap F8 right at Power On / Startup, and use UP arrow
key to get to Safe Mode from list of options, then hit ENTER.
RESCAN your computer with your Anti-Virus, Malwarebytes and Spybot S & D
while in Safe Mode.
