minimise/maximise

i have xp sp2. is there any way that i can get all windows to open maximised
all the time? i know how to get each of my icons to open maximised
individually but is there a setting to do this to all windows.

Try this.

Set a folder the way you want it.
In the folder click Tools, then ckick Folder Options.
Click on the View tab.
Click Apply to All Folders.

Apply to All Folders
[[Click to apply the current folder view to all folders on your computer.
This does not apply to toolbar settings.]]
