migration to new computer

i have a PIII w/ adaptec SCSI 160

i wish to upgrade my computer to P4 and use the old adaptec SCSI 160

do i need to reinstall the XP after the migration of new computer.

Going from P3 to P4 requires a new board,with a new board xp will need to
be reinstalled.You can use the File-Transfer-Wizard on old board,set as old,
put data in a new folder you create,then transfer to a cd.With new board,open
file transfer,set as new,install cd,browse for data,then run,youre settings
will
be as before.Plus you now have a back-up.
