migrating office.pst file from xp to vista

I have a backup of my pst file (outlook 2003) on an external drive and would
like to import it to vista but I get an error File access denied: You do not
have the permission required to access the file: H:\, etc....

First, you must copy it to your hard drive and disable the rerad-only
attribute. Then, you must forget you ever heard the word "import" and
simply open the PST in Outlook with File>Open>Outlook Data File.
