Microsoft Outlook Error Message

We are on a Microsoft Small Business Server network. One of my users is
getting the following message when she tries to open Outlook:

"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window.
The set of folders could not be opened."

Is there a fix for this? Can I just reinstall Outlook at her workstation?
If I do that, will she lose all current email data? Help!!!

No, I did not. Will that not make her lose all of her current emails? It is
critical that she be able to retrieve them.
