Microsoft OneCare and Windows 2000?

Victor

I once used V-COM's SystemSuite 5 registry cleaner to remove 1400 bad ActiveX registry
items - it dramatically improved performance of the computer, but it also removed some
good registry entries for Adobe applications.

Has anyone tried using Microsoft OneCare with Windows 2000 Pro? I'm particularly
interested in experiences with the registry cleaner - I'm hoping Microsoft will clean
the registry right...

Requirements state Windows XP but I've heard it also works on Windows 2000 Pro.

Thanks,

Vic

You may well find that one care requires win validation, prior to
download/install, and it may be that it wont validate a win2k installation

I found that OneCare allowed download from a Win2K installation.

I'm still interested in experience with OneCare's effectiveness and safety in cleaning
the registry.
