Microsoft Office Accounting-Lost "recognized" integration

Hello all,
We are a small-sized business with Vista business Pc's and Office Pro
2007 and have installed BCM in our Outlook 07, sharing database from
one Pc as host.
The re-ocurring issue we have is the Microsoft Business Accounting Pro
(not free) (setup is similar) is "loosing" its connection to the
individual Pc. The behavior is as follows:
After installing all of this in a workstation, we can use the "convert
to qoute" module for a few days but then mysteriously, one day the
workstation will not "see" that connection to the accounting software
again until it is uninstalled and re-installed.
Has anyone else seen this or found a fix?
Cheers!

What's the actual error message?

So you have machine A with the BCM and Accounting database, and
machine B loses the connection the Accounting, after working OK. Can
BCM on machine B still connect to the database? If so, then the
Accounting database should also be as avialable, so it probably a
problem with the Accounting software on machine B. If this has
happened several times, I would suspect that the Accounting files are
ok after a reinstall, but then something clobbers them after a few
days. Do you know if the Windows Update software installs any patches
or service packs between reinstalling Accounting, and when it stops
working?
