Microsoft .Net Framework

I had install the .Net Framework 1.1 which required by the latest ATI graphic
driver. Each time when the computer starts, the screen stops at the user log
in. I click the icon, then Whindows will load all the start-up programs,
that takes 20 seconds. Is there any way that windows can by pass the log in
screen, and load windows software directly. I do not setup any password
anyway. What I want is I start the computer, and when I come back in a few
minutes, I am able to use the Windows right away. Thanks, Wilson Chu

Start>run and type

control userpasswords2

Then uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this
computer".

The login screen only came up once for my installation. Then
when I went back to windows update for the update it didn't
come up any more. On a clean, properly configured XP box
I have found it best to apply all the updates.
